Apart from making all travel arrangements; we look into the educational curriculum and make a PowerPoint Presentation on the destination. We also provide research material to the teachers and prepare a detailed questionnaire for the child. We have enriched the programme by introducing quiz contests, historical enactments, art competitions pertaining to the places of visits and monuments. The company was started in 1991 by Mr. Mehernosh F. Deboo (Founder Director and CEO) and a veteran of 100 Project Tours and over 100 Educational & Adventure Camps. He also served as a lecturer with the K. C. College of Travel & Tourism Management for three years teaching Indian Tourism and Indian History to students who were completing their one-year Post Graduate Diploma Certificate. He personally handles international student groups visiting India, a pioneer in the Project Tour Concept since 1999, he has been lecturing on tours and making Presentations on PowerPoint giving students important educational inputs for thier history, geography and commercial applications projects. He currently heads the Sales & Marketing Division and is responsible for the overall growth of the Company.
CODE is proud to be associated with the Magnum Group of Travel Companies, that has given the travel industry men with extensive administrative experience. Mr. Sharukh Kapadia, Director Magnum Group of Companies, is a well known personality in the travel industry. During 2007 - 2009, Mr. Kapadia was on the Managing Committee of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). He has also held the office of Chairman, Airline Council. Prior to this Mr. Kapadia held the position of Chairman, TAAI - Western Region. He was also actively associated with the Government of India Tourism Office and has initiated various measures for repositioning India as a preferred tourist destination during the Incredible India Campaign.
As Chief Operations Officer, Mr Homi Amalsadvala brings to CODE wealth of experience in terms of handling Operations and Finance of Educational Tours. He looks into every minute aspect; right from itinerary planning to actual execution of the tour. Mr. Amalsadvala specializes in High Risk Adventure Camps, International Tours to the Far East and Environment Camps as a faculty member having hands-on-training and experience in horticulture. He also handles delicate group of students aged between six-ten years on Project tours to various historical destinations in India. A throughly disciplined individual who has a black belt in Karate and a degree in Commerce & Banking.
